   Managing supply chains is synonymous with managing information. Today's supply-chain managers are flooded with facts and figures. Web-based software solutions and collaborative networks generate streams of real-time information and alerts; new developments such as wireless technology add to the flow of data. Moreover, tougher security measures demand the use of electronic information channels. The Supply Chain Information Round Table will focus on how trading partners can manage present and future information flows, and derive maximum value from this mass of information.
